All returns are handled by Charlotte Elizabeth (CE) Ltd, trading as RAEME.
Returns
You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving your Goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
We also offer an extended returns period of 28 days from delivery.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- unused
- in the same condition that you received it
- in its original packaging

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
If approved:
- your refund will be processed to your original payment method
- this will be completed within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods

Return shipping costs for exchanges are your responsibility unless the item is faulty.
Faulty Items
If your item is faulty, you are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You may be entitled to:
- a full refund (within 30 days), or
- repair or replacement
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

Since 2016, Charlotte Elizabeth has been designing leather handbags and accessories with a deeper sense of purpose. From the beginning, our Founder Charlotte has designed each piece with careful thought and consideration, typically taking up to two years from envisioning a product to launching it.

Made to last, our leathers and materials are chosen with the utmost care and responsibility. For our Core Collection, we’ve partnered with a supplier that has earned the prestigious ‘Gold’ rating from The Leather Working Group, the world’s leading environmental certification for the leather manufacturing industry. This recognition ensures that the leather we use is sustainably sourced and produced with the environment in mind.
The Italian pebble grain leather selected for this collection is not only buttery soft to the touch but also exceptionally durable due to its textured finish and the quality of the hide. This leather is designed to stand the test of time, becoming even more beautiful as it ages. For our Original Bloomsbury style, we use split British leather which is sourced with product longevity in mind.
To further enhance the lifespan and luxury of our handbags, we’ve incorporated gold-plated hardware into each style. This attention to detail not only adds an elegant touch but also contributes to the overall durability and timeless appeal of our designs.

Considered Packaging
We take deliberate, measured steps to ensure that our packaging has as little environmental impact as possible. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that even the smallest details matter. To that end, all of our leather goods are carefully packaged in a fully biodegradable, 100% cotton dust bag. This dust bag is designed to provide around twelve years of continuous use, offering a durable and eco-friendly solution for keeping your items protected. Once it has fulfilled its purpose, the bag can be shredded and composted at home or taken to an industrial composting facility, where it will break down naturally and contribute valuable carbon elements to the compost mix.
We’re also proud to say that all our additional packaging elements are 100% recyclable. Our cardboard boxes are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable themselves. The stickers and tissue paper used in our packaging are FSC certified, meaning they come from responsibly managed forests, and are printed with soy-based inks—another eco-friendly choice. Both the tissue paper and stickers are not only recyclable but also compostable, allowing them to break down naturally when disposed of.
By making these conscious decisions, we strive to minimize waste and ensure that every step of our packaging process aligns with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
